My husband gets bonus points today for spotting an eagle on the golf course in our community, coming home to get me, and delivering me straight to an area where I could photograph the majestic bird. I snapped a couple of shots of the eagle before he took flight. Then, as I maneuvered around some trees to get a better vantage point, I hear Sean yelling out the car window, “This way, this way.” The eagle had turned to fly by our direction, so a few pivotal steps and I was able to capture this shot.

Of the many photographs I’ve taken in the past two days (deer, hawks, owl, wild turkey, emu, giraffe, bears, etc.), this one is my favorite of the week!
