On a recent visit to Texas, I had the wonderful opportunity to visit several beautiful gardens. Seeing the many plantings near the end of springtime reminded me of the change of seasons experienced throughout many of the midwestern states. While I consider myself fortunate to be exempt from the snowy winters, I do miss the change in scenery that Mother Nature offers the other regions of the U.S. Imagine the beauty one could photograph as the environment changes around you throughout the year. What a fresh perspective this lends to the creative souls who long for the variety of the colors of life.
Now back home enjoying my tropical surroundings in Florida, I scroll through the many photos I shot and realize how thrilled I am to have just been granted a fresh perspective. . . on life, family, and career. Another great reminder of how blessed I am.

A fresh perspective
